Athira, daughter of Raveendran, confesses her love for Akhil and tells him she is ready to elope. Akhil discusses the plan with his close friends Renju and Pattar. They decide to seek help from Rajesh, a tipper driver who has eloped and married, hoping he can arrange their escape and wedding.

Akhil, Renju, and Pattar visit Rajesh. He initially refuses after learning the relationship between Akhil and Athira's family, but he changes his mind and agrees to help. Rajesh outlines that the wedding should take place in a temple and mentions it will require money and careful planning.

Rajesh recommends a temple wedding in Taliparamba, which will cost money. During a local political party's human chain, Pattar hands Athira a fully charged mobile battery as instructed by Rajesh, ensuring they can stay in touch. The battery becomes a symbol of the covert plan amid the tension surrounding the marriage.

A strike led by Athira's elder brother at the BSNL office triggers a 24-hour hartal. Despite the disruption, Akhil and his friends push ahead with wedding preparations, organizing saree, blouse, and thaali. Rajesh stays involved to keep the plan moving.

That night, Akhil arrives at Athira's house without her family knowing and takes her away in a car with Ranju and Pattar. They head toward the wedding plan while evading their family's suspicion. The secrecy puts everyone on edge as they move toward the temple.

The next day, Akhil and Athira are married in a temple in Taliparamba with Rajesh's help. Akhil's father asks him to stay away for a few days, signaling familial tension. Rajesh then suggests they move to Mookambika for two days to avoid immediate fallout.

After checking into a hotel, Rajesh receives a call about Athira's grandmother's death, prompting everyone to go to Athira's house. Raveendran beats Akhil and creates a scene, but Rajesh helps Athira, Akhil, Renju, and Pattar escape. Rajesh later escorts them to Akhil's aunt's house in Kuttiady.

A missing-person case is filed by Athira's family, and the police locate Akhil and Athira and bring them to court. Rajesh secures Satish as their advocate to plead their case, presenting the temple marriage as proof. Satish submits the photograph and the temple register to support their marriage.

Raveendran's lawyer challenges the marriage by showing Athira's SSLC certificate, proving she is not yet 18. Satish reviews the document and notes that Athira will turn 18 in five days, which could affect future proceedings. The judge, Sony, orders Athira to be taken to a children's home as she expresses disinterest in returning home.

Raveendran's lawyer warns that once Athira reaches 18, the court will permit them to live together, and he tries to prevent Akhil from attending the hearing. The police move to arrest Akhil in a bus-burning case, but Deepak, a party worker, takes the blame to shield Akhil.

Before the hearing, Raveendran attempts to persuade Athira to reverse her decision, but she remains resolved. During the hearing, Athira declares she wishes to go with Akhil and reveals her father's statement about Akhil's caste. Since she has turned 18, the court accepts her decision to accompany Akhil.

With the court's acceptance, Athira and Akhil prepare to be together as a married couple. Meanwhile, Akhil's younger brother plans to elope with his lover and marry once he turns 18, signaling a similar future on the horizon.
