Simran Desai leaves her village to pursue a career in Mumbai with only her father's support. She quickly joins an IT company and begins to settle into life in the city. The move marks a hopeful start for her ambitions in the urban tech world.

While Simran works at a mobile store, a thief targets the shop for a phone. Jayanta intervenes, helps apprehend the thief, and protects Simran, preserving her job. The incident cements his protective image and deepens their connection.
