Jayammu Nischayammu Raa!

In a small, bustling village, two best friends, Rambabu and Suribabu, share a cramped tenancy under Gopalam, a man who makes his living by playing musical instruments, while his wife Kantham freely showers affection on anyone who recalls their late son Chitti. The pair tread through life with their own budding yearnings: Rambabu grows fond of Shanti, and Suribabu falls for Seeta, whose family troubles continually complicate his efforts to help her.

Rambabu’s feelings for Shanti are mirrored by the looming shadow of a traditional arrangement back home.
