Kranti Kumar, an honest police inspector, arrives in a southern village and meets Koyal, a village girl. He is drawn to her warmth and courage, and their connection grows quickly. Their budding romance sets the tone for a love story that faces looming danger.

Koyal's parents approve of the romance and announce their intention to marry the couple. The engagement becomes a public pledge and a turning point for both families. The happiness is tempered by undercurrents of political and social pressure.

During the engagement, Gopinath confronts Kranti and reveals that he is the bastard son of the corrupt politician Amavas. Kranti is stunned by this revelation, and his grandfather steps in to disclose the full truth about his parents. The family history begins to pull at Kranti's loyalties and identity.

The backstory unfolds: Amavas starts as a poor beggar who becomes Kamal's right-hand man and a political force. He drugs and seduces Gayatri Devi, who becomes pregnant, only to be betrayed and disowned by him. Gayatri dies giving birth to Kranti, marking the birth of the vendetta that will shape Kranti's life.

Amavas orders Bhola to abduct Koyal and Munni to secure the bride for his demonic ritual. Kamal, fed up with Amavas's crimes, tries to protect Koyal but is murdered by Bhola. The villains escalate their scheme as Kranti learns of the risky plan to forcibly marry Koyal.

Kranti escapes from jail with help, fights his way through the palace, and rescues Koyal and Munni. He defeats Amavas in a brutal duel using a trident and ultimately ends his father's tyranny. Amavas dies with his bitter last words.

After Amavas's death, Kranti surrenders to the police and is jailed for three years. Upon release, he reunites with Koyal, and they marry, starting a peaceful life together. The tale closes on a note of reconciled families and lasting happiness.
