Jaani Dushman: Ek Anokhi Kahani

Rajesh and Madan attempt to molest Divya at the college. Karan intervenes and brings them to the principal, resulting in Divya forgiving them. However, the two men vow to avenge the humiliation, seeding a deadly vendetta.

Rajesh uses voice imitations to lure Divya to an abandoned fort for a supposed party invitation. There, Divya is brutally raped by Rajesh and Madan and, overwhelmed, she ends her life. Before dying, she curses the men of the group, vowing to avenge the humiliation.

A revelation ties Divya to a past life as Vasundhara, a snake-woman, and identifies Kapil as a snake-man with near-immortality and shapeshifting powers gained through penance. The ancient sage warns that a supernaturally powerful mortal could defeat Kapil. Vasundhara is reborn in Divya, and the two set out for vengeance.

Kapil acts on Divya's curse and kills Madan the same night Divya dies. This marks the first lethal consequence of the supernatural plan and heightens the group's fear. The revenge arc moves from vengeance to outright murder.

Divya, inhabiting Rajesh's bride, reaches the wedding party in Lonavala. She kills Rajesh, exacting vengeance for the earlier rape. The murder signals the group's downfall as Divya's curse spreads.

Kapil impersonates a driver and lures Victor, then runs him over, killing him. Later, at the party in Lonavala, he impersonates Victor again and kills Abdul by electrocution. The bodies pile up as the haunting escalates.

Principal Joseph gives the group necklaces claimed to shield them from supernatural harm. Kapil assaults Atul, but the protective necklace helps him survive; Atul lingers in a coma after the attack. The group clings to the hope that the talismans will keep them safe.

Divya, in Prem's body, kills his nemesis Ashok. Prem is arrested for the murder, but a later testimony by Rashmi (in disguise) leads to his release. The court case deepens the group's paranoia as more betrayals surface.

Divya first possesses Raju's body to threaten Vijay, but the principal blocks Divya's influence. Later, she possesses Vijay himself, prompting him to leap from a terrace and die in an apparent accident. The death closes the circle of vengeance on the friends.

Preeti informs Vivek of Vijay's death, escalating fear. Kapil impersonates the college principal to urge Vivek to discard his protective locket, then impersonates Karan and stabs Vivek. Vivek survives, but the ruse leads to Karan's arrest.

Atul comes out of a coma and tries to help Vivek, but Kapil stabs him during the attempt. Atul dies from blood loss, marking another victim in the escalating carnage. Vivek remains alive but devastated by his friends' fates.

Karan breaks out of police custody to confront Kapil and protect Vivek. Principal Joseph performs a ritual merging three major world religions to resurrect Karan, granting him powers equal to Kapil. Karan finally overpowers Kapil and kills him; Vivek and Karan survive, while Kapil and Vasundhara reunite in the afterlife.
