Action

An emissary of the former “party mafia”, called Jafar, orchestrates provocations and terrorist attacks on the borderlands to set the stage for a coup. After a raid on an army armory wounds his driver, Jafar’s men must smuggle a drug caravan across the Afghan border. He forces former officer Oleg into the job, prompting the bandits to take Oleg’s son hostage. Oleg and his veteran comrade Nikolai confront the gang in a deadly, uneven struggle.
