To keep RJ's education on track, her mother secretly engineers a move to Mumbai under the guise of culinary training. She enrolls RJ in a college and arranges for a hostel stay with the help of her sister, keeping the real goal hidden from the father. RJ begins adjusting to a new city while her dream to study further remains in motion.

At the college in Mumbai, the Dramatics Society invites students to join and RJ volunteers. The group mocks her long name, so Vivaan shortens it to RJ, and she quickly becomes a central figure in the troupe. The DS aims to stage ambitious theatre as part of a national festival.

The DS votes to participate in the National Theatre Festival and selects The Taming of the Shrew. Vivaan pledges to modify its misogynistic parts, renaming the production The Taming of the Shrew - Reborn. RJ's leadership and acting work begin shaping the show's direction.
