An elderly Malaysian man suddenly erupts at the Indian Embassy in Kuala Lumpur, slaughtering several Indian officers in a furious five-minute burst before he collapses. A tattoo of a love symbol on the back of his neck becomes the first clue, steering the investigation toward a rogue transgender scientist named LOVE, whose true identity and whereabouts are known only to Akhilan Vinod, Vikram.
Four years earlier, while pursuing LOVE, Akhilan faced a personal tragedy: his wife Meera George was killed by the same elusive foe. The case catches the attention of the R&AW, and Malik, Nassar, a seasoned operative, tracks Akhilan down and persuades him to join the new push to uncover LOVE’s plans.
Reviewing the embassy footage, Akhilan concludes that the attacker relied on a mysterious drug delivered through an asthma inhaler to heighten strength for a short window. Because Akhilan’s own record is tainted by suspension, Malik designates him as a deputy to Arushi, Nithya Menen, a junior R&AW agent, and the two depart for Kuala Lumpur to continue the probe.
In Malaysia, the probe deepens: the drug, codenamed Speed, is inhaled and grants extraordinary power for five minutes; a second dose within hours can trigger a fatal heart attack. A shipment of Speed inhalers is en route to LOVE, and the clock ticks as Akhilan and Arushi try to intercept the cargo. Peter, a scientist who works for LOVE, becomes an informer and explains the drug’s mechanics, guiding the investigators toward the intended handoff and a pivotal lead about a lorry carrying the inhalers.
The pursuit leads to a tense chase, but a lorry driver who has inhaled Speed overpowers the duo and takes them to LOVE’s hideout. When Akhilan attempts to arrest LOVE, he is knocked unconscious by Meera, who has somehow survived and is now operating as a computer hacker codenamed ROSY. Meera reveals that she suffered retrograde amnesia after a past assault, and LOVE used that vulnerability to recruit her, building a high-tech firewall around their operation.
Meera’s testimony shifts as she explains how the drug temporarily restored her memories and how LOVE forced her to work faster with Speed. Yet when LOVE orders Meera to kill Akhilan and Arushi, Meera fights back and triggers a police response, providing crucial information that helps capture LOVE. In custody, Meera’s account reveals that she had been drugged forSpeed to keep her productive, but the sustained use gradually unlocked long-buried memories. Still, LOVE rafts a new plan and seizes a Speed inhaler to escape and wreck the police station, eliminating Arushi and others who stand in the way; Arushi had documented the assault on a Bluetooth camera, a record that becomes a key piece of evidence.
The investigation traces a satellite call LOVE makes to Chang, Malaysia’s Transport Minister, Yugi Sethu. Chang’s political leverage had allowed LOVE to move Speed inhalers toward India in return for money. Akilan and Chang’s hospital room become the latest battlefield when LOVE infiltrates the facility, hiding in an air conditioning vent and releasing a neurotoxic gas that paralyzes both Akilan and Chang. LOVE then murders Chang and hallmarks Akilan as his killer, forcing him to flee under suspicion.
With the trail hot, Akhilan and Meera rally to finish LOVE using a kill-switch activation device that had been restored and hidden by Arushi before her death. The device can only be opened with LOVE’s fingerprint, so the pair devises a plan to obtain it. They infiltrate an illegal airfield controlled by Chang, where LOVE is preparing to depart for India with the Speed shipments. In a brutal face-off, Akhilan inhales Speed to match LOVE’s enhanced state and fights her as she attempts to seize the device’s fingerprint. He eventually secures her print—before collapsing as the drug’s effect fades.
Regaining consciousness, Akhilan discovers LOVE has already slipped away for India. He improvises, using silica gel to lift LOVE’s fingerprints and gain access to the kill-switch. He dismantles Meera’s safety mechanism and wipes out LOVE’s henchmen, including the pilots of the escaping plane. The jet spirals into a remote jungle, killing LOVE and destroying the Speed shipments.
A few weeks later, Akhilan and Meera celebrate a government-sponsored holiday cruise, a reward for their role in taking down LOVE. The Government of Malaysia backs the trip as a gesture of gratitude for their efforts, and a final reveal hints at a personal truth: Akhilan had secretly kept a Speed inhaler, a reminder that the battle against the drug’s menace may not be over.
