In Prestonburg, Kentucky—a town of hunting, fishing and coal mining—two self‑styled “redneck geeks,” Wes Vance and Aaron Frye (aka “The Creepy Kentuckian” and “Uncle Bill”), turned their weekend horror‑film binges into the weekly podcast DEADPIT.com. Their candid banter, quick wit and profanity have built a global audience, turning a hobby into an online empire with millions of followers and access to childhood horror icons, while they wrestle with the clash between early passions and adult ambitions.
