Naresh runs a band troupe, and he falls for Indumathi at first sight, the kind-hearted woman who runs an orphanage. As he woos her, he discovers a child in the orphanage is battling a serious heart condition that requires urgent surgery costing 3 lakhs. The news sets a tight deadline and casts a weighty dilemma over everyone involved, painting a backdrop of urgency and sacrifice against a lighthearted romantic thread.
Meanwhile, a separate story unfolds about a wealthy man, Gopala Krishna. He buys a farmhouse on the city’s outskirts to host his daughter’s wedding, hoping to create a perfect setting for a joyful family moment. After the formal registration, he realizes the house is haunted, a superstition that threatens to derail the ceremony and cast a shadow over the celebration. In a bid to resolve the haunting, he reaches out to a wizard, but a misdial lands on Naresh instead. Naresh, who is already grappling with financial troubles, seizes the opportunity and, posing as a wizard, manages to impress the household, collect a fee, and play a crucial part in saving the child.
The haunting, however, doesn’t end there. Naresh returns to the farmhouse, only to face a surprising twist: the ghost haunting the house is not a stranger, but Swapna, his cousin. To understand her story, a brief flashback reveals that Swapna lost her parents as a child and was raised by Naresh, growing up with a deep bond and affection for him. The two decide to register their marriage, a plan that shocks everyone because it would bind Naresh to a supernatural fiancé in a way no one expected.
Tragically, on the journey to the registry office, two men kidnap Swapna, molest, kill, and bury her body in the garden of the same farmhouse. Swapna’s return as a ghost comes with a chilling condition: she will leave the house only if she marries Naresh. The revelation leaves the family stunned, and Gopala Krishna reluctantly arranges a marriage between Naresh and Swapna as a solution to the immediate crisis.
