Inhuman Kiss

Four children—Jerd, Sai, Noi and Ting—play in the forest. Noi and Sai decide to hide inside a house believed to contain the spirit of a Krasue. Sai encounters the Krasue inside the box and hides, beginning the legend that haunts her later.

The scene jumps to the teens. Sai works as a nurse in a local hospital to care for the wounded while Jerd's crush on her is obvious to everyone. Noi studies medicine in Bangkok, preparing to help with the war effort.

Sai and Noi meet again in the forest, and a renewed bond forms between them. The old feelings deepen as Sai's attention shifts away from Jerd.

The tribe from Noi's homeland arrives to hunt the Krasue. The leader explains that a female krasue can turn a woman into a krasue, while male krasue (krahang) suffer pain at the start and risk devouring his guts.

Blood stains appear on Sai's bed, growing darker each night. One day she screams in pain as her head seems to detach from her body, signaling her transformation into a Krasue.

Sai leaves at night to hunt for meat and returns to her human form after feeding. Noi witnesses the transformation and helps gather meat, drawing them closer while Sai begins to ignore Jerd.

Jerd has known Sai's krasue nature all along and has joined the hunting tribe to misdirect them.

The tribe discovers Jerd's betrayal and their leader—the krahang—kills him in punishment.

Sai plans to flee to Bangkok with Noi that evening; Jerd pleads with her not to leave. The tension between love and loyalty sharpens as the escape nears.

Sai's father orchestrates a mass cinema event at the village border to show that rumors about her turning into a krasue are false. The gathering seeks to restore peace and normalcy in the village.

The monk guiding Noi recounts an ancient story: a krasue wife and a krahang lover lead to tragic consequences, foreshadowing Sai's possible fate. The tale adds a sense of doomed inevitability to the events.

It is revealed that the krasue who turned Sai was Nual, the monk's wife whom he once locked in a box in the forest to spare her death. Noi learns the truth and the monk's motive in helping him.

Sai, now fully transformed, is chased by villagers with guns. Jerd lunges to kill her, but Noi persuades him to spare their friend, leading to a tense standoff.

In the chaos, the tribe leader dies at the monk's hands after being killed by the monk in the struggle that ensues following the standoff.

The villagers close in on Sai as they destroy her body, but the violence culminates when Jerd's parents shoot Sai in the head, ending her tragic tale.
