Inheritance

Charles Abernathy invites his family—his sons Drew and C.J., and their sisters Madeline and Kami—to his mansion for his milestone birthday. Drew brings his wife Hannah despite instructions that only blood relatives should attend. The family prepares to celebrate, unaware of the danger looming that night.

Charles cryptically warns the family that there is a price on his life that will be collected at midnight and says only his bloodline can save him. The mansion is sealed off, with all outside communication cut, to protect him from the threat. Charles hints that his death could have deadly consequences for his family.

The family starts experiencing minor paranormal activities, such as strange noises and eerie presences. Kami, exploring alone, is violently killed in the indoor pool area, shocking everyone and hinting that malevolent spirits are targeting the estate.

Kami's dead body is found, but later mysteriously vanishes, increasing the family's fear that a supernatural killer is inside with them. Charles attributes the curse to his own actions and warns that the spirit's hostility will increase closer to midnight.

The twin siblings suspect Drew and Hannah of being the killers and begin plotting to murder them so they can claim their inheritance. Their plan is driven by jealousy and ambition as they aim to eliminate perceived competition.

Hannah expresses her wish to escape the mansion after discovering Kami’s body went missing. As she and Drew attempt to leave through an underground passage, supernatural phenomena, like statues turning to face them, terrify her, forcing them to stay inside.

Hannah and Drew are locked inside a vault by the twins while strange noises continue. An invisible presence drags Madeline into a room where Kami’s ghoul attacks her. C.J. shoots at the apparition, but Madeline’s spirit dissipates, revealing she was already dead.

Hannah and Drew discover a secret room containing a grimoire and occult items indicating Charles's pact with a demon called Mammon. This ancient bargain explains the supernatural forces tormenting them and the family curse.

Kami’s ghostly presence frightens C.J. into falling over a banister, resulting in his death. Subsequently, Kami’s ghoul drains the life force from Madeline, killing her in the process. These deaths are revealed as acts of vengeance from the spirits of their sisters.

Charles reveals he made a pact with Mammon to regain his wealth, agreeing to sacrifice his bloodline by giving his soul. He tries to renegotiate, but Hannah and Drew confront him. Charles shoots Drew, and Hannah shoots Charles to the floor during their struggle.

Hannah, armed with C.J.’s shotgun, shoots and traps Charles under a fallen grandfather clock. She reveals she is pregnant with a child who is the true heir to the Abernathy family, aiming to break the curse and end the demonic pact.

As midnight strikes, shadowed ghouls of the deceased siblings appear and Mammon, the demon, arrives to claim Charles’s life, fulfilling the cursed pact. Charles is killed, leaving the mansion shrouded in supernatural darkness.

In the morning, Miles finds the mansion in chaos. Hannah, having survived the night and defeating the evil, leaves the mansion in a limousine. Her pregnancy signifies hope for the family’s future and a break from the curse.
