In Time

In the year 2169, humanity discovers the ability to genetically alter aging, allowing individuals to remain youthful until age 25. This change leads to a stark division between the rich and poor, with time becoming the new currency of life.

Will Salas works in a factory in Dayton, a slum where people struggle to earn time. The cities are divided into social classes, and Will's life is plagued by poverty and the harsh realities of a system that favors the wealthy.

One evening, Will saves Henry Hamilton, a 105-year-old man, from an attack by the middle-aged gang leader, Fortis. Hamilton's words resonate with Will, revealing the cruel truth that for the few to live forever, many must perish.

Henry Hamilton gives Will an astonishing gift of 116 years of time but takes his own life shortly afterward. Devastated by the loss, Will rushes to find his mother, only to discover that she cannot afford the bus fare and succumbs to time running out.
