Lucy (Maricel Soriano) is a dedicated mother who faces the heartbreaking challenge of leaving her young son Tim (LA Santos) in the care of her brother Bibs (Roderick Paulate). Her decision to work abroad in Japan as a cultural dancer stems from her desire to secure a better future for her family, but it also results in a deep emotional divide. Tim, who has high-functioning autism, struggles with effective communication and connecting socially, but possesses an incredible talent for singing that shines through despite the difficulties he faces daily. Years pass, and Lucy returns home with hope and longing to reconnect with her son. However, she is met with unforeseen challenges. Tim has become attached to Bibs, and his resentment toward Lucy's absence makes it difficult for him to accept her back into his life. Similarly, Bibs harbors feelings of bitterness and resentment for having been left to care for Tim alone, feeling the burden of raising a child with special needs without and emotional support from Lucy. Recognizing her impending death, Bibs and Tim rally to support her, rejecting her decision to leave.
