Set in post‑war Naples, the film follows a group of young men known as the ‘figli della Madonna’—children born in 1945‑46 to Neapolitan women and African‑American soldiers. Their lives, struggles for identity and the social tensions their mixed heritage provokes drive the narrative toward a poignant exploration of love, prejudice and hope.
