Sooraj Kaushik, a Mumbai gangster, pretends to be a police officer to kidnap Radha Mathur on orders from his father, Suryakant 'Pasha' Ranade. Radha believes the ruse and leaves the city with Sooraj and his friends. The kidnapping triggers a dangerous clash between their families and sets the plot in motion.

Radha and Sooraj travel to an isolated location in Jammu, where they slowly fall in love despite the danger surrounding them. They hide from Pasha's men and from law enforcement as their relationship deepens. The days in Jammu mark a turning point from coercion to genuine affection.

Back in Mumbai, Pasha uses the kidnapping to threaten Shrikant Mathur, Radha's father. The group is discovered by the police led by Radha's brother, Dheeraj, sparking a frantic chase. Sooraj is shot in the arm while leaping a broken bridge, and the lovers plunge into the water, leaving everyone believing they are dead.

The couple are rescued by Buddhist monks, and Sooraj remains unconscious for a time. Radha stays by his side and confesses her feelings, while Sooraj admits he kidnapped her and was Pasha's henchman. Radha still loves him and asks him to surrender to the authorities.

Returning to the city, Sooraj is intercepted at gunpoint by Shrikant. The tense confrontation underscores the power of family loyalties versus old loyalties. The incident reinforces the dangerous emotions surrounding Radha and Sooraj's relationship.

During the trial, Pasha makes a fatal attempt to escape and is sentenced to two years in jail. The punishment deepens the rift between Pasha and his rivals, and he vows revenge. The legal outcome reshapes the power dynamics for everyone involved.

One and a half years later, Sooraj is released early due to good behavior and begins planning a life with Radha. Meanwhile Dheeraj schemes from within the family and quietly introduces his old friend Ranvijay, a smuggler, who will play a pivotal role in pulling the lovers apart. The stage is set for a carefully plotted conflict.

Dheeraj's wife brings Ranvijay into the fold, and it becomes clear that he has his own agenda. Ranvijay strikes a deal with Pasha to separate Sooraj and Radha, using his charm to win over Radha's family. The lovers' alliance begins to crumble under pressure.

Shrikant starts considering Ranvijay as a son-in-law, especially as Radha and Sooraj's relationship faces renewed opposition. The family’s allegiance shifts, making Sooraj's position increasingly precarious. The lovers' future hangs in the balance as Ranvijay consolidates influence.

Radha and Sooraj recount their love to Shrikant and Dheeraj through a musical theatre performance, hoping to win approval. Shrikant refuses to accept Sooraj unless he becomes a state witness against Pasha. Sooraj declines, arguing that betraying his father would degrade their love.

Ranvijay seizes a last opportunity and stabs Sooraj, while Dheeraj is away. Pasha arrives intent on killing Sooraj for betrayal, but Radha arrives and defends him, insisting that Sooraj would rather go to prison than betray Pasha. A tense, fragile reconciliation between Pasha and Sooraj follows.

Ranvijay continues to threaten Pasha's men and attempts to kill Pasha and Sooraj, triggering a violent showdown. Shrikant arrives, shoots Ranvijay, and finally accepts Sooraj as Radha's partner. Radha and Sooraj reunite and get married, ending the saga on a hopeful note.
