The Legend of Hercules

In 1200 BC, King Amphitryon of Tires launches a fierce invasion on the shores of Argos. His forces prepare for an intense battle, aiming for territorial expansion and dominance over their rival kingdom.

King Amphitryon enters into a deadly pact with King Galenus, agreeing to engage in a battle where the victor will claim the defeated king’s realm and troops. This sets the stage for a momentous confrontation between the two armies.

Amphitryon emerges victorious after defeating King Galenus in battle. This triumph grants him power, territory, and serves as a testament to his military prowess.

That evening, Queen Alcmene confronts Amphitryon about his violent ways. She expresses her disdain for his lust for power, prompting her to pray to Hera for guidance regarding their troubled marriage.

A divine being, revealing herself to be Hera, appears to Alcmene and foretells that she will bear a son who will become the savior of her people. This prophetic moment, witnessed only by Chiron, the advisor, marks a pivotal turn in Alcmene's destiny.

While Amphitryon celebrates his victory, Alcmene is seduced by Zeus in a secret encounter. Amphitryon’s jealousy leads him to mistakenly believe that Alcmene has betrayed him.

Alcmene gives birth to a strong baby boy, whom Amphitryon names Alcides. Unbeknownst to him, Alcmene acknowledges her child as Hercules, representing her hope for the future.

Two decades later, a grown Hercules rides through the countryside with his beloved, Hebe. Their idyllic relationship faces disruption when they are discovered by Iphicles, Hercules’s older brother, who is looking for Hebe.

Hercules and Hebe are ambushed by a lion, which Hercules courageously wrestles to protect his beloved. Despite his heroism, Iphicles takes credit for the victory, humiliating Hercules publicly.

During a banquet hosted by Amphitryon, the engagement of Iphicles and Hebe is announced, shattering the hearts of Hercules and Hebe. This event prompts them to devise a plan for an escape.

Hercules and Hebe's escape is thwarted by royal guards, leading to a perilous situation where they nearly drown. Hercules's bravery shines as he saves Hebe from certain doom.

Coerced by Amphitryon, Hercules leaves for a military campaign in Egypt. Just before departing, Alcyone reveals his true heritage to him, but he dismisses her claims as madness.

In the blistering heat of the Egyptian desert, Hercules and his company, led by Captain Sotiris, are captured and sold into slavery. They later showcase their strength in gladiatorial combat, fighting for their lives and freedom.

Back in Greece, Alcmene seeks guidance from Hera amidst her despair over Hercules's presumed death. Confronted by Amphitryon, she reveals her past with Zeus, leading to her tragic death at his hands, disguised as suicide.

Upon his return to Greece, Hercules learns of his mother’s death and vows revenge. He defeats gladiators, rallies soldiers, and ultimately confronts Amphitryon in a fierce battle that ends with Amphitryon's demise at Hercules's hands.
