After their intense efforts to banish the evil spirit Alistair Crump, the team managed to weaken him by seizing a piece of his hat, which was crucial for his power. Harriet performed a powerful spell, aided by others, that forced Alistair to return to eternal rest, ending his reign of terror in the mansion. With the evil spirit defeated, the spirits trapped within the mansion, including Madam Leota and the spirits of Gracey’s house, were finally freed, allowing them to find peace. In the final moments, the good spirits happily continue to reside in the mansion, and the threat of the dark spirit is completely gone.

The ending also hints at a touching connection between Ben and Gabbie, who begins to see a future together, as they start a relationship after the supernatural chaos. Ben, having finally connected with Alyssa’s spirit through a ghost sign — a cat named Tater Tot — feels her love and approval from beyond. It’s a heartfelt conclusion that emphasizes the triumph of love, friendship, and the power of good over evil, leaving the mansion and its inhabitants at peace and Ben with a sense of closure and new beginnings.
