As Rohit grows, he earns a hard-won reputation in college boxing circles, proving his talent by defeating Amar Rane, a pivotal rival and the son of a grieving family. The old wounds surface when Rohit learns the truth about his father’s darker deeds and faces false charges of drug possession—charges amplified by Amar, who enlists his uncle’s help to harass Rohit from custody, despite Rohit’s innocence. A devastating revelation about his mother’s life shatters him further, driving Rohit to a reckoning that culminates in a drunken act of violence: he kills Amar in a brutal outburst, landing him in prison, where his grandmother, Shanta, visits to remind him of the pain and the consequences of his actions.

Time passes, and a new chapter unfolds. Hasan Bhai, portrayed by the charismatic presence of Shakti Kapoor, recalls a time when Raghu’s mafia-era rivals were wiped out by Rohit’s father’s operations, a memory that rekindles Rohit’s own sense of justice and revenge. With support from Rohit’s circle, Rohit is bailed out and begins his ascent in the Mumbai underworld, earning the moniker “Boxer Bhai” as he navigates power, violence, and loyalty. He also enters a complex romance with Gauri, the daughter of Rohit’s friend [Bhopu], who endures a violent marriage and whose trauma Rohit chooses to acknowledge by freeing her from danger and bringing her into his life.

The couple eventually welcomes a daughter, Shanti, and Rohit’s ambition broadens when a political door opens. Digamber Patil, a powerful party insider, offers Rohit a path into elected office as a corporator, tempting him with authority beyond the streets. Rohit accepts, yet the transition to politics quietly unsettles a city that has long known his name. Rohit’s trusted ally and guardian, DCP Kishore Kadam, warns him about the cleanest path forward and cautions him about the honest chief minister who could jeopardize Rohit’s carefully built empire. The nightlife bursting in the club where the legendary song from Janbaaz, “Ek To Kum Zindagani,” plays in the background underscores the tension between spectacle and danger.

Meanwhile, Rohit’s world collides with personal betrayals. Jyoti Deshmukh, a friend of Gauri, and her husband, a police officer, relocate to Mumbai, and the couple’s shift brings them into contact with Fracture Nagya, Rohit’s most dangerous adversary. It becomes clear that Shekhar, Jyoti’s husband, is a mole working for Nagya, and Rohit begins to see the deadly game at play as his men fall in the hands of Nagya’s network. Rohit exacts a brutal reckoning, first taking Nagya’s life, then ending Pakya’s treachery at a guest house, and finally overpowering Patil in a dramatic confrontation inside a cricket stadium. Having toppled the political and criminal nexus, Rohit vanishes from the world he helped shape, becoming the city’s most wanted man as the authorities, led by the Chief Minister, issue shoot-to-kill orders.

In a final act of confession and sacrifice, Rohit locates Gauri and pleads for forgiveness, explaining that the violence he wields stems from a past he can never fully outrun. He urges her to take their daughter, Shanti, far away from the city and the haunting echoes of his legacy. Gauri obliges, choosing a life away from the danger and the darkness that defined Rohit. In a quiet, tragic closure, Rohit’s light is extinguished as he takes his own life, leaving the city to face the paradox of destiny: a man who rose to power through crime and love, whose love for his family ultimately leads him to a self-imposed end.
