Hansel & Gretel

Just after closing, a hooded figure kills Mason outside Gretel's pie shop and bakery. The murder unsettles Gretel and stirs up questions about who is targeting her town. Hansel's return seems tied to uncovering this new witch threat.

Years after the first film, Hansel has become a dedicated witch hunter and has just killed Bunny. Hearing that Mason is missing, he decides to return to Candlewood and reconnect with Gretel, who hasn't spoken to him in a year. Their meeting sets the plan in motion to search for Mason and confront the new witches.

Circe, Kikimora, Morai, and high priestess Cthonia convene in the woods near Candlewood to begin their revenge for Lilith. They seize a homeless woman to serve as their pawn and begin plotting to take back Lilith's bakery. The gathering marks the start of the coven's active interference in Candlewood.

The next day, Hansel and Gretel visit Mason's brother Jacob and his roommate Willy to discuss Mason's disappearance. As they prepare to search, the coven's homeless woman shoots at them, and Gretel is abducted. The group scrambles to regroup and plan a rescue.

Gretel is tied up in Lilith's bakery and confronted by Circe and the coven. She confesses to killing Lilith and hints she consumed some of Lilith to gain powers. Cthonia offers a stark bargain: Hansel's head in exchange for keeping Lilith's bakery; if Gretel doesn't kill Hansel, they will kill her.

Gretel abducts Willy as a bargaining chip in the escalating power struggle. The capture heightens the stakes for Hansel and Jacob as they race to track Gretel down. The abduction solidifies Gretel's control over the coven's actions.

Hansel receives hostage photos of Gretel and Willy and shows them to Jacob. Jacob identifies graffiti from an abandoned warehouse, guiding them to the site. There, they find Gretel and Willy unconscious, while Kikimora fills the room with a blinding fog.

Gretel allows Hansel to decapitate Kikimora; while Hansel and Jacob help Willy, Gretel feeds on Kikimora's corpse and absorbs her powers. The escape from the warehouse leaves Gretel more dangerous and self-assured.

Circe confronts Gretel at her house about Kikimora's death. Gretel offers to lead Circe to Hansel so Circe can kill him herself, signaling a shifting balance of power within the coven. The tension between the witches grows as Gretel's control tightens.

At the bakery, Circe hypnotizes Hansel to kill himself with his own knife. Gretel casts a blinding fog to break the trance, allowing Hansel to stab Circe in the face. Gretel drinks Circe's blood and gains Circe's powers.

Gretel tries to hypnotize Jacob into sleeping with her and killing himself, but Jacob's sexuality thwarts the spell. Frustrated, Gretel kills him with brute force, further consolidating her control over both coven and siblings.

A package containing Jacob's eyes is left at Hansel and Willy's door, kicking off a macabre scavenger hunt with Jacob's body parts. Gretel later delivers the rest of Jacob's body to Morai, and the notes lead Hansel and Willy to Morai's location.

Hansel tracks Morai to her location and kills her in a confrontation, and Willy joins the aftermath. Gretel drinks Morai's blood, further amplifying her powers as the coven's strength grows.

Cthonia calls Gretel from her grandma's phone, luring her back home. She threatens to kill Gretel's grandma, but Gretel retaliates by decapitating her grandma and taking Cthonia's high priestess ring, seizing control of the coven.

Gretel brings Willy and Hansel to the local pet cemetery to reveal Lilith's burial and attempt a resurrection incantation. Lilith returns briefly, but Willy betrays the ritual by disintegrating Lilith. In the ensuing showdown, Hansel shoots Willy, Gretel fights Hansel, and the police arrive as they stand wounded, walking away together.
