SVR tries to knit his son Murali into a joint family by arranging a marriage to Jiddu Balamani. Murali, eager to avoid the match, absconds to Switzerland, setting the stage for a cross-border romance. The escape foreshadows the distance that will separate and then unite the lovers.

Sowmya receives a job offer and the two meet at the airport, starting a journey filled with jokes and teasing. SVR hurries to the airport, clashing with Achyuta Ramayya and heightening the family feud. The encounter foreshadows the path that will take them abroad.

Murali joins as cook Bhimudu at Achyuta Ramayya's residence and slowly wins the family's trust with his competence and dedication. His hidden identity begins to fade as he proves himself.

Jalandhara learns that Bhimudu is actually Murali, the son of SVR, and resolves to trouble him within the house. Her scheming adds another obstacle to the couple’s plan.
