Golconda High School

Kireet Das proposes converting Golconda High School's cricket playground into an IIT coaching center. Principal Viswanath opposes the plan, but Kireet challenges him to prove the school's success in sports to retain the ground. They agree that the ground will stay if the cricket team wins the upcoming state tournament.

Viswanath summons Sampath, a former student with a troubled past, to coach the cricket team. The team, led by Siddanth, initially resists Sampath's training due to their lack of discipline. Siddanth arrogantly challenges Sampath to a students vs. teachers game with the condition that students will stop following him if they lose.

During the students vs. teachers match, Siddanth deserts his team out of frustration, leaving Gowtham to take over as captain. The students manage to tie the game because Sampath intentionally gets bowled out in the last over. This display of skill earns their respect for Sampath, who they decide to follow despite initial opposition.

Sampath helps the team clear a police case against their teammate Mikey, revealing his compassionate nature. The team, including Siddanth, begins to appreciate Sampath's dedication. Their respect for him grows, and their focus intensifies on winning upcoming matches.

Motivated by their resolve to keep the ground and win the tournament, the team advances through the competition and reaches the finals. They face the formidable Everglades team, with heightened determination to succeed. Their efforts are now unified with the goal of saving their cricket ground.

Before the final match, the team learns from Sundar, the Everglades coach, that he has a past conflict with Sampath. The team doubts Sampath's intentions, feeling mistrust and losing focus. They allow this suspicion to affect their gameplay during the crucial match.

During the half-time break, Viswanath reveals to the team that Sundar had blacklisted Sampath after a betrayal in the past, deliberately getting him run out in a previous championship to sabotage his career. This revelation restores the team's trust in Sampath and renews their determination.

Realizing the truth, the team apologizes to Sampath. Inspired by his motivational speech, they refocus on the game. Despite Siddanth suffering an injury, the team continues fighting, with Siddanth returning to field and leading them to an improbable victory in the final over.

Golconda High School's cricket team wins the state championship after 15 years, securing the victory with a dramatic finish. Their win not only brings pride but also ensures the cricket ground remains a part of the school, fulfilling Kireet's challenge.
