After completing her autobiography, Salomé Lerner appears on Bernard Pivot’s literary program “Apostrophes.” Pivot envisions a film built entirely from music, inspired by the young pianist Erik Berchot, to help Salomé reconnect with the brother she lost in the 1943 Gestapo raid that also claimed her parents. In reality the Lerner family escaped, eventually settling in Paris.
