Girl House

In the quaint town of Rehobeth, Alabama, during the year 1988, a seemingly insignificant act of cruelty sows the seeds for a harrowing sequence of events. Two girls, indulging in their twisted sense of fun, orchestrate the humiliation of an overweight boy they cruelly nickname Loverboy. Their despicable prank ends violently, resulting in one girl left broken and alone on the roadside.

Fast forward to the modern era, where we meet Kylie Atkins, a college student struggling to survive financially. She finds herself lured into the exploitative world of online pornography by the ambitious Gary Preston, who draws her into his profitable enterprise known as Girl House. In this exclusive setting, women constantly perform in front of cameras, showcasing their lives and sometimes intimate encounters.

As Kylie navigates this perilous environment, she meets a diverse group of characters, including the mysterious security guards Steve and Big Mike, along with her new roommates Kat, Devon, Janet, Heather, and Mia. Soon, Loverboy, a frequent figure on the Girl House circuit, becomes fixated on Kylie.

Amidst this chaos, Ben Stanley, Alex’s college roommate, is taken aback when he recognizes Kylie as his childhood crush from kindergarten. Their rekindled connection complicates Kylie’s life as they both deal with the implications of her involvement with Girl House. Meanwhile, Anna, a former resident ostracized due to her heroin addiction, returns and pleads with Gary for another chance.

Tensions reach a boiling point as Loverboy’s obsession with Kylie escalates. The women in Girl House ridicule his online persona, mocking his appearance on their bulletin board. Eventually, Loverboy’s anger erupts into a violent reckoning.

In a series of shocking and brutal incidents, Loverboy unleashes a wave of vengeance on those he believes have wronged him, targeting Steve at the security gatehouse, Anna through a horrific strangulation, and Devon, who suffers a grotesque mutilation. While Alex sits horrified in his dorm room, Ben tries desperately to warn Kylie, but it is too late; Loverboy has cut off all forms of communication, effectively trapping her in a nightmare.

Unaware of the chaos unfolding, Kylie retreats to the sanctity of her room, oblivious to the lurking danger. The bloodshed escalates when Loverboy violently interrupts Heather and her boyfriend, leading to a tragic demise. Janet becomes a helpless witness to the carnage, her screams stifled just before she is thrown down the stairs, suffering serious injuries. In a desperate attempt to escape, Mia finds herself confined in the sauna, only to meet a horrific end at the hands of Loverboy.

As Kylie gazes out the window at the pool, the grim reality of her situation begins to set in. Despite her earlier efforts to flee, chaos ensues when Janet foolishly attempts to fight back against Loverboy, sustaining grave injuries in the process. In her moment of need, Kylie seeks refuge in Kat’s bedroom, yearning for safety. However, the terror escalates when Loverboy breaks in, forcing Kylie to confront the life-threatening danger head-on.

Displaying unexpected bravery, Kat manages to stun Loverboy, buying time while Kylie desperately searches for Devon, only to uncover a devastating scene—Devon has succumbed to despair, choosing to end her life beneath a plastic bag. With the tension mounting, Ben and Liz Owens scramble to find the correct address of the house, racing against time to prevent Loverboy from claiming another victim.

The stakes are raised as Kylie faces Loverboy, who relentlessly pursues her throughout the house. In an act of defiance, she disables the wicked cameras and lures him into a dark basement where a camera’s night vision becomes her unexpected weapon. In a fierce struggle, Kylie stabs Loverboy, but he retaliates, choking her as the fight intensifies. Yet Kylie, refusing to submit, uses the very device that aided her attack to deliver a fatal blow.

In the aftermath, Alex resolves to turn away from the world of online pornography, choosing instead to pursue therapy to mend his emotional scars. The film culminates with Kylie escaping the clutches of horror, where she finds Ben and Liz awaiting help alongside police and reporters. Overwhelmed by her trauma, she pleads with Ben to shield her from the media frenzy, to which he readily agrees. As the scene fades to black, we witness Kylie taking a deep breath—an attempt to process the unspeakable horrors she has endured.
