To replenish Kai’s life‑sustaining protoblood, the Lexx crew returns to the Cluster, only to find its world emptied after “The Cleansing”. The purge was intended to herald the birth of the Giga Shadow—the sole survivor of the insect wars and humanity’s sworn foe. With the aid of Yottskry, a defector priest of the Divine Order played by Malcolm McDowell, they plot to destroy the Giga Shadow.
