Hema discovers her father Dharamchand dead in his bedroom, soon after the bank's final audit deadline passes. A suicide note is found nearby explaining that he embezzled 20 lakhs, cannot repay, and chose to take his own life. The discovery sets off a concern about the bank's reputation and the family's name.

Ratan resolves not to reveal the suicide note or the embezzlement to anyone, including Hema. He believes exposing the truth would ruin the family's reputation and social standing. This decision marks the start of a secret-driven cover-up.

A blackmailer named Shekhar confronts Ratan and threatens to expose the secret unless he participates in a bank robbery. He fixes the deadline to two days before the final audit, creating intense urgency. Ratan agrees to help in order to safeguard the family’s reputation.

Ratan participates in the robbery; the money is looted from Olympic Bank and all bank records are burnt. The robbers make a clean getaway, and Ratan is relieved that the problem seems resolved and the family name remains intact.

Hema witnesses the robbers in action and identifies a woman named Shobha. She informs Ratan but is told to keep the information secret to protect the family’s reputation. The identification introduces a potential witness who could unravel the cover-up.

Ratan's friend Sagar arrives from Delhi and is initially viewed with suspicion due to his profession. It is revealed that he is a CBI officer assigned to gather evidence for the Olympic Bank robbery investigation. This complicates Ratan's secretive plans.

Following inquiries, Sagar identifies Madan, Ratan's best friend, as the main suspect in the bank robbery. The revelation escalates the tension between personal loyalties and the pursuit of truth. Ratan fears the secret may be exposed.

Ratan and Sagar press Shobha to disclose everything about Madan. Shobha is reluctant but is pushed to speak, raising the stakes for everyone involved. The attempt to extract truth increases the danger surrounding the case.

Before she can reveal the full details, Madan shoots Shobha. The attempt to obtain information ends in a violent act that silences a crucial potential witness. Shobha dies, leaving the truth still obscured.

As she dies, Shobha confesses that Dharamchand did not commit suicide but was murdered by Madan. She reveals that Madan had embezzled 20 lakhs from the bank through Dharamchand and did not want to repay. This confession reframes the case and exposes the real culprits and motive.
