Wile E. Coyote repeatedly fails in his pursuit of the Road Runner, employing a rifle, a steel plate, a dynamite stick attached to an extending metal pulley, a painted illusion of a collapsed bridge that collapses on him while the Road Runner runs through, and a jet motor, each gadget spectacularly backfiring.
