Free Jimmy

Roy hides seven kilograms of stolen heroin inside Jimmy because he needs a way to smuggle the drugs out of the country. The circus provides perfect cover, he can transport Jimmy across borders as a performing animal while the heroin remains hidden inside his body. Roy believes Jimmy is the key to his dream of building a circus empire, making the elephant both his smuggling vessel and his ticket to a new life.

Jimmy escaped because Roy accidentally gave him speed instead of heroin. The elephant was normally kept sedated with heroin at night, but when given the stimulant, he became energetic and paranoid, bolting through a door left open by the TWAATS group. This triggered the chaotic pursuit across the frozen moorlands.

The three Sámi bikers are part of the Laplander motorcycle gang hired by the Russian mafias. They're pursuing Jimmy not to save the elephant, but to recover the seven kilograms of heroin hidden inside him. The Russian mob wants their stolen drugs back and revenge on Roy for stealing from them.

The Sámi bikers tracked the criminals to a log cabin occupied by an elderly Asian-American couple. The bikers killed the couple and tortured the four stoners to find out where Jimmy was hidden. This violent confrontation escalates the stakes and shows the ruthless methods the bikers will use to recover the heroin.

A benevolent moose befriends Jimmy while he's wandering injured and drugged on the moor. The moose guides him to water, offers food, and provides shelter, giving the elephant a fighting chance at survival. This unlikely friendship becomes the heart of the story, showing compassion even in the chaotic pursuit.

Sonia shoots Jimmy after he steps on her dog Karma, killing the animal. Overwhelmed by guilt, grief, and stress from the chaotic situation, she fires a hunter's rifle at Jimmy. The bullet enters through the original incision where the heroin was hidden, causing the drugs to burst inside him and kill the elephant from overdose.

Jimmy dies from a massive heroin overdose. Sonia's bullet punctures the incision in his buttocks where Roy had sewn seven kilograms of heroin. The drugs flood into Jimmy's system, killing him instantly. This tragic death seals the failed heist and represents the ultimate cost of exploiting the animal.

After the stoners abandon him, Roy is consumed by remorse for what happened to Jimmy. He walks back alone into the blizzard-covered moorlands, calling out Jimmy's name, and disappears into the terrible storm. His fate is left ambiguous but suggests he either dies or gets lost forever in the harsh Norwegian winter.

The moose causes a rockfall that buries Jimmy's body after the elephant dies. This ensures the heroin cannot be exploited by any of the factions still fighting over it. The three criminals, Odd, Gaz, and Flea, are fleeing from a local gangster named Ivan who threatens them. When Roy Arnie, their American friend, invites them to join the circus and promises easy money plus a glamorous way out, they see it as their chance to escape Ivan's reach.
