Three inept Cockney criminals—Odd, Gaz and Flea (Odd, Geir and Kælle in the Norwegian version) [Anders T. The star attraction is Jimmy, a captive elephant who is paranoid of the police, missing half his tusk, and addicted to drugs. Roy Arnie feeds Jimmy speed to keep him lively for the crowds and administers heroin at night to keep him sedated.

Roy reveals a shocking scheme: he has stolen seven kilograms of heroin worth over a million pounds from the Russian mafias, and he’s using the circus as a front to smuggle it out. The plan is brutal and grotesque—to cut an incision in Jimmy’s buttocks, stash the drugs inside, and sew him back up. Roy believes that Jimmy is the key to his own dream of founding a circus empire. But fate intervenes when Jimmy, accidentally given speed instead of heroin, bolts through a door left ajar by TWAATS, and Flea hijacks a windshield-less van to give chase as the elephant disappears into the frozen moorlands.

The pursuit broadens: three Sámi bikers, part of the so‑called Laplander motorcycle gang hired by the Russian mafias, tail the would‑be smugglers, intent on reclaiming the heroin and exacting revenge. A separate threat of redneck-style Scottish big‑game hunters closes in, hoping to shoot a larger animal. The group finds a log cabin occupied by an elderly Asian‑American couple, only for the bikers to arrive, kill the couple, and torture the four to extract Jimmy’s whereabouts. Amid this chaos, the elephant’s condition worsens, and Jimmy’s survival hinges on a benevolent moose that befriends him, guiding him to water, offering food, and shelter, and giving him a stubborn, life‑affirming chance at recovery.

As Jimmy clings to life on the moor, the converging groups collide in a cascade of violence. The moose distracts the hunters, a motorbike rider is killed, and Marius’s activist faction meets a grim end when a grenade detonates in the melee. Roy Arnie tries to lure Jimmy with more drugs, but the elephant stands his ground and intimidates the would‑be traffickers. In a pivotal moment, Jimmy steps on Karma, the activist Sonia’s dog, and tragedy spirals further when Sonia—naive, overwhelmed, and embittered by guilt—shoots Jimmy through the original incision with a hunter’s rifle. The heroin inside bursts, deal sealed: Jimmy dies from a massive overdose, and Sonia recoils in horror as she flees with the others.

The stoners attempt to salvage the heroin from Jimmy, but the moose causes a rockfall that buries the elephant’s body, ensuring it cannot be exploited. The trio of friends fled from the scene, leaving Roy to confront the consequences of his choices. Back home, they turn on Roy, who, filled with remorse, trudges back toward the moors to find Jimmy—and disappears into a terrible blizzard, calling out “Jimmy” into the wind.

This tense, often brutal tale threads dark humor with stark moments of empathy, showing how a reckless plan and a dream of glory can unravel into tragedy, and how a lone moose becomes the quiet hero of a story about exploitation, rescue, and the sobering cost of human ambition.
