Lloyd, a photographer dying of a brain tumor, discovers that the growth sustaining him also breathes life into the recently dead. Using his camera lens as a conduit, he reanimates a woman he sees in a harrowing snuff film—a naked, tortured victim. Night after night he brings her back, drawn to her grace and slowly falling in love, but each resurrection also revives the man who murdered her, forcing Lloyd to confront the cycle of love and violence.
