Four Letters of Love

In the film’s final moments the two solitary lives finally converge on the lonely western shore. The camera lingers on them as the scene freezes, revealing at last the long‑awaited canvas his father completed: a tender brushstroke of the two lovers standing together on the sand, watched over by the silhouettes of both families.
