History professor Baisch, his depressive, tablet‑addicted brother‑in‑law Anzengruber, and a manic cabaret artist crash on a remote country road after a party. Their car is wedged between two trees; bullet‑proof windows and locked doors cannot be opened. Injured and trapped, they survive on a bowl of herring salad and a few bottles of Prosecco while awaiting rescue. Fear, rage, dark humor and tears alternate as days pass and the ordeal worsens.
