Alan Roper approaches bookie Larry Hart, claiming he plans to lift £60,000 and asks Hart to launder the cash. Unaware that the £60,000 is actually Hart’s own money, Hart agrees, unwittingly setting himself up for a double‑cross as Roper intends to steal it back. The scheme quickly spirals into a tense showdown as loyalties are tested and each man tries to outwit the other.
