A fire ignites on the 12th floor of Los Angeles’s First Interstate Tower, rapidly engulfing the skyscraper. As the blaze spreads, Paul and Susan, who are working late on the 37th floor, join the cleaning crew, security staff and building engineers—some of whom are installing new sprinklers—and all become trapped, forced to confront the growing inferno.
