Father Lee (Sean Lau), an unconventional priest, is sued for rape by Donna (Almen Wong). His congregation abandons him; Mr. Gum (Eric Tsang) hires lawyer Ku (Carman Lee). Gum favors violence; Ku relies on false witnesses. Lee refuses to attack Donna, fearing further harm. In the end he proves conscience can endure in a world ruled by power.
