Maqsood Abrar, portrayed by Mushtaq Kak, is a determined Jihadi from Jaish-E-Mohammed who consistently collaborates with ISI generals. They express their concerns about how India has effectively curtailed terrorism in the Kashmir valley, undoing years of meticulous planning aimed at cultivating a network of willing young Jihadis, ready to sacrifice their lives in pursuit of Kashmiri freedom.

In this tense landscape, Majeed Khan, played by Sanjeev Jaiswal, operates behind the scenes for Maqsood, managing logistical operations for Kashmir. Meanwhile, in the heart of Srinagar, a terrorist faction led by Azhar Akhtar plots a significant strike against India, aiming for the Indian Air Force’s base at Srinagar. Azhar, skilled in orchestrating attacks—including the notorious strikes at the Indian Embassy in Kabul and the bombing at Mazir-I-Sharif—devises a plan that exploits Indian children to carry out the mission, thereby obscuring any traces of Pakistani involvement.

To confront this burgeoning threat, Group Captain Rakesh “Rocky” Jai Singh springs into action, assembling an elite team dubbed the “Air Dragons.” This formidable group of talented fighter pilots features Squadron Leader Shamsher “Patty” Pathania, Squadron Leader Minal “Minni” Rathore, Squadron Leader Sartaj “Taj” Gill, Squadron Leader Basheer “Bash” Khan, and several others, all poised in Srinagar for the impending challenges.

Saanchi, played by Sanjeeda Sheikh, is Taj’s devoted wife. As the team embarks on rigorous training exercises, Minni and Sukhi find themselves engaged in simulations involving swift helicopter deployments. The stakes of their training escalate when they must drop a commando team in enemy territory and then retrieve them within a 15-minute window. With a focus on strategy, Taj and Patty are tasked with providing necessary air cover while Rocky and Wing Commander Harish “Nauty” Nautiyal attempt to penetrate that very air cover to engage the choppers directly.

During the training, tensions mount, and Rocky becomes furious with Patty who, in executing a so-called “cobra maneuver,” inadvertently allows a successful strike against their helicopter mission. Meanwhile, Minni develops feelings for Patty, eliciting disapproval from her father, Abhijeet, who envisions a different path for her. As emotions run high, Patty grapples with the haunting memories of losing his fiancée, who was also a chopper pilot, in a previous mission.

As the threat escalates, Azhar’s operations lead to the smuggling of significant quantities of RDX into Srinagar, a move caught by Indian forces. Yet, this is merely a strand in Azhar’s intricate web of deception, as he maneuvers to ensure a more substantial cache stays undetected. The Pakistani air force intensifies their readiness, aligning two F-16 squadrons, including an ace pilot known as Red Nose, strengthening their military presence near the Line of Control.

Tragedy strikes when news arrives of an attack organized by Akhtar in Pulwama, resulting in the tragic loss of 70 soldiers—an event that propels the Indian Air Force into action alongside RAW agent Zarina Begum. The team devises a counter-offensive targeting Akhtar’s base in Balakot, where a substantial training center for terrorists is suspected to be situated. The attack is orchestrated to coincide with a party for high-ranking military officials, lending an element of surprise.

Despite a successful strike on the base, the aftermath fuels tensions between India and Pakistan. In a twist of fate, Azhar survives the operation. A retaliatory strike from the Pakistani air force soon follows. Facing ramifications for disobeying orders, Patty finds himself suspended from the Air Dragons and reassigned as a flying instructor at the Air Force Academy in Hyderabad.

The intricate web of interpersonal relationships grows complicated as Minni learns from Rocky about the deeper grudge he holds against Patty, stemming from the tragic death of his sister, Naina Jai Singh, during a past rescue operation. As Patty contemplates his future, he finds himself saved by a trainee pilot named Neha, igniting renewed introspection about his commitment to the Air Force.

Tension escalates when reports emerge of a Pakistani plan to return captured pilots only to have the brutal murder of Bash revealed. Betrayal unfolds as Zarina, once believed to be a double agent, is exposed for her true allegiance, prompting Patty to join a covert rescue mission against protocol.

In an audacious move, Patty, alongside Rocky, plunges into enemy territory on a mission to save their comrades, engaging in fierce aerial combat to thwart the Pakistani fighters. Patty’s valiant efforts lead to a climactic confrontation, where he not only saves Taj but ultimately defeats Azhar, securing the rescue of all involved.

In the happy conclusion, Patty and Minni reunite, celebrating their hard-won victory amidst the backdrop of conflict and camaraderie in the skies.
