A man murders his pregnant wife in the Farhope Tower penthouse after learning she may have been unfaithful. Realizing the baby might survive, he records a final message and then hangs himself. The tragedy seeds the tower's haunted legacy that threads through the rest of the story.

Decades slip by as five amateur investigators—Jake, Andre, Zoe, Judy, and Simon—pursue a breakthrough for a TV series. A producer agrees to fund a pilot only if they shoot on location inside Farhope Tower. The project hinges on the tower's infamous history to attract viewers.

The producer's condition sets the plan in motion, but Andre harbors deep reservations because of a childhood brush with the supernatural tied to the place. Jake pushes forward, insisting that the risk is worth the chance at a breakthrough. The tension between skepticism and curiosity threads through the group's decisions.

The group arrives at Farhope Tower to find an empty, dilapidated interior. A room is smeared with the message Go Up, and a stack of newspaper clippings recounts the tower's infamous incidents, including the opening murder and the surviving baby. They conclude that the top floors will be the most revealing for signs of spirits.

Jake and Simon split from the others and locate an office where Simon finds a suicide note. As the note is read aloud, Jake experiences a pounding headache and a shift in his demeanor. The tension deepens when Simon questions Jake's relationship with Zoe, provoking anger before Jake snaps back to normal.

The group hears music and discovers an unplugged radio that somehow functions. Zoe makes a fragile contact with a spirit, but the moment she asks questions, feral screams erupt, shattering equipment and phones. The pressure of the haunting tightens around them.
