Nerdy college student Alistair McDowell moves in with law school dropout Larnell, along with their couch-surfing, sun-soaked housemates Bachman and Brett. A flyer for a hefty, apparently possessed bong catches Larnell’s eye, and the four decide to bring it home, curious about the rumor and the hype. They light up, but only some of them do; Alistair sits back, observing the scene with a mix of skepticism and awe. As the night unfolds, Alistair meets Brett’s girlfriend Luann and her friend Janet, and a quiet, unspoken crush grows on Janet, adding a layer of personal tension to an already bizarre situation.

That same night, Bachman’s soul is dragged into The Bong World—a nightmarish realm that takes the form of a sin-drenched strip club inside Evil Bong. There, Bachman encounters menacing figures like Ooga Booga and Ivan Burroughs, who warn him to tread carefully around Eebee, the sentient, cursed artifact inside the bong. A lurid stripper with skulls on her bra delivers a deadly bite to Bachman’s neck, and the vicious scene is witnessed by Ooga Booga, who watches without intervening. The next morning, the roommates discover Bachman dead on the couch. Alistair suggests the weed did it, but Larnell points out that everyone smoked from the same bong. The object itself seems to mutate, its surface contorting into a malevolent face, heightening the sense that something genuinely supernatural has invaded their apartment. They hide the body, but the tension rises when Cyril, Larnell’s wealthy, wheelchair-bound grandfather, shows up to share news of a recent remarriage.

The bong begins to speak to Larnell directly, its voice only audible to him. Tempted by the seductive invitation to take another hit, Larnell succumbs and is drawn into The Bong World. Inside, he encounters Bachman again, who appears to be alive, as well as a surreal cross between pop culture and horror like the Gingerdead Man, and Cyril. A stripper offers him a lap dance, and the same brutal fate that befell Bachman repeats itself. Back in the real world, Luann and Janet come by, and the group toke again, slipping into a haze that dissolves the borders between their living room and the Bong World. They wake up inside the same liminal space, greeted by a surreal enforcer named Jack Attack, and Luann is abruptly seized by a bouncer. Brett meets a haunting encounter with his ex-girlfriend Carla Brewster, a Bong World stripper who uses a bra to bite off his genitals, sealing his fate in a grotesque act.

Meanwhile, Janet falls prey to the bong’s influence, collapsing as the curse tightens its grip. Jimbo Leary enters the scene with a blunt declaration: the bong, named Eebee and voiced by Michelle Mais, is his, and it carries a voodoo curse that transports those who take enough hits into the Bong World, from which there is no easy escape. In a bid to save Janet, Alistair must plunge deeper into the Bong World himself. Jimbo attempts to destroy the bong with a hammer, a chainsaw, and, in a drastic last measure, a bomb, but Eebee unleashes a cloud of marijuana smoke that knocks Jimbo unconscious.

Inside the Bong World, Eebee enlists seduction to bend Alistair’s will, but he resists and continues the search for Janet. Along the way, he encounters allies and adversaries, including the enigmatic Jack Deth, and eventually comes upon Janet in a state of peril. Eebee’s true motives come to light: she intends to seize control of the world by turning the air into endless pot smoke and the oceans into bong water, effectively turning humanity into gigantically stoned slaves. Jimbo, now fully committed to ending the threat, arms a time bomb to blow up Eebee and free everyone else.

Back in the real world, the gang’s souls are returned to their bodies, and life resumes with a jolt of relief and horror. The bong shatters into a thousand pieces, and Jimbo’s fate remains ambiguous—somewhere in the aftermath, he seems to have been slain, and the Bong World is left without its central relic, its sovereignty unsettled. In a final, eerie note, the Bong World’s denizens are glimpsed in a closing tableau—cosmic, strange, and intoxicating—as if the veil between worlds remains thin and fragile.

In this surreal landscape, the film gives us a chorus of figures that punctuate the cargo-cult vibe of its hyper-stylized universe. The Alluring Woman, played by [Diana Prince], appears as a figure of temptation in the Bong World. The realm is also populated by a cadre of Sexy Demon characters—[Kylie Sky], [Riley Mae], [Claire Hudgins], and [Juliana Acosta]—whose presence underscores the campy, neon-soaked mood of the fantasy. The Stoner Zombie Girl archetype is represented by [Megan Sage] and [Samantha McGee], while [Robin Sydney] appears as the Faux Batty Boop, weaving in and out of the surreal environment with a sly, knowing grin. And among the living, the group includes Lucy Furr, as portrayed by [Mindy Robinson], and Misty, portrayed by [Jessica Morris], among others, grounding the story with relatable human textures even as the Bong World bathes them in its fever dream logic.

Through its blend of horror, humor, and a gleefully over-the-top premise, the tale unfolds with a brisk, almost documentary-like clarity about a cursed object that drags a disparate group of friends into a space where the ordinary becomes extraordinary and every choice ripples with consequence. It’s a cautionary carnival of excess, a story about curiosity, the lure of reckless thrills, and the precarious balance between ordinary life and the fantastical, where the price of indulgence is paid in both laughter and dread.
