Gamal earns his living singing at local weddings, while his brother Salah, a chemist, urges him to abandon his drug habit. Salah creates a supposedly harmless weed and gives it to Gamal. Impressed by the formula, a drug dealer approaches them, and Salah, lured by the promise of quick cash, ultimately yields to the temptation of money.
