Perumal, terrified by the kidnapping, turns to a more discreet path for help and enlists retired police officer Nataraj, [Sathyaraj], a man who cannot leave his home because he must care for his daughter Pia, who has a rare medical condition. To keep the investigation under wraps, Nataraj invites his former colleagues to his house rather than to a formal police station, working the case in secret from a place of personal sacrifice. The tension mounts as Swetha’s current predicament collides with her private life, and the hostage drama begins to reveal more about the people involved than anyone anticipated.

In Swetha’s remote setting, Thomas confronts the danger head-on, and a dramatic reveal shifts the balance: Swetha and Thomas are lovers, and their plan is to elope because her father would never consent to the marriage. Swetha’s anger at the kidnapping is palpable, while Thomas explains that his aim was never to harm his lover but to escape with her. David, meanwhile, presses Perumal for a ransom of Rs. 80 million, threatening Swetha’s life unless he complies. Perumal agrees in fear but quietly tells Nataraj that the ransom is actually Rs. 10 million, hinting at a vast, hidden wealth and complicity that could corrupt the whole case.

As the net tightens, Nataraj’s old instincts push him to outthink the thieves. He learns that Perumal is lying about the ransom amount and the location where the money will be deposited, and he uses that knowledge to fashion a plan to seize the money for Pia’s treatment. Behind the scenes, Pia’s health becomes the emotional fulcrum of the story, and the cost of her care—Rs. 10 million for treatment in Singapore—drives decisions on all sides.

The money moves through a carefully set exchange, with Perumal placing funds at a location designated by Thomas. David, unaware of the full web of plans, frees Swetha at a critical moment, assuming Perumal has complied with his demands. Thomas, seizing the moment, takes all Rs. 80 million and tries to vanish, but Nataraj and his team intervene, and a brutal confrontation ensues. David arrives to confront the truth, and the two men clash in a tense showdown, yet the deeper bond between David and Thomas resurfaces as David remains a steady, if flawed, guardian in a moment of crisis. Swetha finally arrives on the scene, and in a shocking turn, she shoots Thomas, accusing him of betrayal.

With Pia’s life still hanging in the balance, Nataraj races toward the airport to escort his daughter to Singapore for treatment. The urgency of Pia’s condition and the mounting pressure of the failed kidnapping thread collide in a final, desperate decision: Nataraj takes drastic action, burning the recovered ransom money to create a fire that will save his daughter’s life, choosing her health over the loot and ending the immediate threat to Pia. The film closes on a note that weighs moral cost against personal sacrifice, a quiet testament to a guardian’s love and the complex pull of crime, loyalty, and redemption.
