During the 1960s in Brazil, the Dzi Croquettes theater troupe challenged the repressive dictatorship with energetic dance, sharp satire, and infectious humor. Founded by American Lennie Dale and Brazilian Wagner Ribeiro, the 13-member group captivated audiences and gained the admiration of figures like Liza Minnelli, Mick Jagger, and Catherine Deneuve. This documentary, directed by Raphael Alvarez and Tatiana Issa, unearths previously lost footage, revealing a vibrant story of artistic rebellion and personal evolution.
