Duet

Sitamma is a maternal figure who joins the family under a secrecy clause—she must be introduced as a cook and nobody must know her true relation. She embodies quiet resilience and care, and her presence adds a layer of tragedy when circumstances spiral. Her eventual demise marks a pivotal turn in the family’s fortunes.

Anjali's Father is a controlling patriarch who pushes for an arranged marriage and uses pressure and threats to coerce outcomes. He catalyzes the central conflict by leveraging his influence to push his daughter toward Sirpy and create a crisis for the brothers.
