Dragon Ball Z: The Return of Cooler

After his previous defeat, Cooler's brain was absorbed by and fused with his spaceship's computer. This fusion allowed him to survive and seize control of the ship, essentially becoming a cyborg with his consciousness integrated into the vessel's systems.

Meta-Cooler's regeneration comes from the ship's computer that perpetually monitors and repairs his metallic body. The computer continually upgrades his design to boost durability, allowing him to recover from injuries that would destroy normal fighters.

After Goku and Vegeta destroy the original Meta-Cooler, the ship rapidly regenerates a thousand manifestations of him. This is possible because Cooler's consciousness is fused with the ship's computer, which can replicate his form endlessly using the ship's advanced technology and the life energy absorbed from New Namek.

Goku's Super Saiyan form proves ineffective because Meta-Cooler's metallic body, constantly repaired and upgraded by the ship's computer, can withstand the enhanced power. Additionally, Meta-Cooler gains the ability to use Instantaneous Movement, matching Goku's own technique and negating his speed advantage.

When they overload the ship's systems, they confront the real Cooler, who is physically present but sustained by the ship's life-support. Goku delivers a decisive ki blast that ends him.

While Goku fights the true Cooler, Piccolo arrives to confront a Meta-Cooler. He successfully destroys it, and the Meta-Cooler detonates in a massive explosion. This, combined with Goku's defeat of the biological Cooler, causes the chain reaction that collapses the entire Meta-Cooler army.

After the battle, Vegeta destroys the ship's main computer chip in space. This act ensures that Cooler's weaponized ship design cannot be rebuilt or used again. It represents the final, decisive action that guarantees the threat is permanently eliminated.

Dende, who became Earth's guardian after the original Namek's destruction, senses the distress of his people on New Namek. He telepathically reaches out to Goku on Earth, pleading for aid as the sentient spaceship attacks and begins enslaving the Namekian population.

The Namekians are overwhelmed by Cooler's robot army. Many are captured along with an entire village and face being converted into fuel for the ship. Piccolo's massive ki attack destroys the robots and sets him on a rescue path to free the captured villagers.
