Seven years pass and New Angeles is a partially flooded, unstable city plagued by aftershocks. The air is choked with smog and acid rain, amplifying the sense of decay. Shuko arrives with his henchmen and demonstrates the medallion's soul power by briefly possessing Satori. Billy and Jimmy incapacitate Bo Abobo, but Shuko drenches the theater in gasoline and sets it on fire. Satori sacrifices herself so the brothers can escape with the Dragon.
