After his release, con man Thurston Hall assembles his usual crew and naïve Guy Kibbee to market a fraudulent gold‑mine stock in New Mexico. Their scheme spirals out of control as the shares inexplicably soar, pulling the hapless partners into a web of comedy and chaos.
