Dr. James arrives at Bargavan Pillai’s home with unsettling news: the ornament has been recovered from the garden. Yet the relief is short-lived. A visit to the jewelry shop reveals that the ornament is only gold-plated, not solid gold, which compounds the doctor’s financial misgivings. The situation grows more complicated when Bargavan Pillai discovers that Vasudevan has been arrested by the police on similar fraud charges, and that the politicians who backed his campaign had themselves taken a loan from a bank using Bargavan Pillai’s signature.

With repayments overdue for a long time, the bank moves to seize the doctor’s house. Just as the situation reaches a tense crescendo in court, a familiar figure enters the scene: Anna, a girl raised at the orphanage where Bargavan Pillai had provided free medical service for years. Anna reveals she is alive and well because of the medicines he sent her, a revelation that reframes the entire ordeal and the doctor’s sense of responsibility.

Anna’s arrival shifts the balance from peril to a hopeful, redemptive note. She promises to clear the debts and help restore the family’s future, and the tale closes on a note of resilience and gratitude.
