Set before the era of superhero and zombie blockbusters, this off‑beat road movie follows Red Toole, a surprisingly good‑natured serial killer who enjoys killing hippies almost as much as he loves his wife, Violet. When Violet is kidnapped, Toole launches a chaotic, often comic quest to rescue her, delivering a bizarre blend of romance, rock‑n‑roll, and unconventional heroics.
