In Mumbai, Raj Chopra, a perpetually failing director, faces mounting financial pressure as his landlord and creditors threaten eviction. Raj meets Ratan, the manager of famous Bollywood actor Aryan Kapoor, in hopes of signing Aryan for a film. He imagines that the star can salvage his faltering career. Ratan signals a tempting payday, setting the stage for a risky financial scheme.
