Demonic

A violent slaughter is discovered at an abandoned house in Louisiana, with three college students dead. Detective Mark Lewis arrives to investigate and finds a shocked survivor, John, before calling in reinforcements. An ambulance with psychologist Dr. Elizabeth Klein also arrives on the scene.

Dr. Elizabeth Klein interrogates John at the scene and he explains that a séance performed in the house drew the attention of many spirits, including his mother. He says two people are missing: his pregnant girlfriend Michelle and her ex-boyfriend Bryan, while other visitors are listed as still unaccounted for.

The film splits between Klein's questioning of John and detectives reviewing videotapes found in the house. The tapes reveal the actual events experienced by John and the five other visitors, alongside growing signs of paranormal activity.

On the videotapes, viewers witness eerie phenomena and attempted contact with spirits, illustrating what the visitors experienced during their night in the house. The footage builds tension as the supernatural events escalate.

Bryan is found alive but he bolts, ending up cornered in a store. John overhears police radio chatter and shouts at Bryan, demanding to know where Michelle is.

Elizabeth screams for Mark to stop Bryan before he harms John. Mark shoots Bryan dead to prevent further violence and to protect John.

Mark returns to the house and discovers a secret area where he finds Michelle. Paramedics begin transporting her on a stretcher, while the investigation continues, and Elizabeth notices something off about John.

As Michelle is wheeled out, Elizabeth realizes that the 'John' she was interrogating was actually a demon. The demonic entity reveals that the seal in the living room bound him to the house and that he killed everyone to protect his escape.

The demon explains the ritual mechanics: the seal must be crossed for him to escape, and that his mother was intended to be the vessel for his release. The living room seal becomes the battleground for his final escape.

Lights flicker on and off as Mark bursts into the room, but the demon vanishes just as Michelle is being wheeled out of the house, leaving the investigators with a shocking truth. The abrupt disappearance hints at the demon's lingering power beyond the house.

In the ambulance, Michelle is shown with a sinister figure moving in her belly. The final image hints that the demonic influence persists despite the escape.
