After a truck carrying ¥1.08 billion in mint paper is robbed, three opportunists—Joe, Okita and Serizawa—realise the thieves will need a master forger. Each tries to sell the idea of Sakamoto, Japan’s top counterfeiter, to the gang boss Hijikata for a million yen. Their rivalry forces them to join forces, storm Hijikata’s hideout, and when captured and locked in a gas‑filled basement, they refuse to surrender.
